You’re welcome to leave a comment on the blog if you have problems on the supported platforms and if you get GridPilot, GridWorker or the server to run on other platforms.
Before you install
Before intalling GridPilot or GridWorker, please make sure you have Java>=1.6 from Oracle installed; you’re also advised to install VirtualBox. Alternatively you can install QEMU or not install any virtualization engine – in which last case you’ll obviously be restricted to the operating system you or your worker nodes are on.
Uninstall
To uninstall, simply run the uninstaller, or remove the rpm or deb. If you’ve made a default install of GridWorker or GridPilot, to completely remove your settings and cache files, remove the following files: ~/.gridpilot ~/gridpilot.conf ~/GridPilot ~/.GridWorker. You may also want to remove ~/.globus (the tilde stands for the path of your home directory).
Good luck!
