My first ACAT conference – this year hosted by Brunel University. I presented a paper on my GUI for ATLAS data processing.
The topics of ACAT match very well what I’ve been doing both during my PhD days and alter – and I’ve been wanting to go for years, but never managed till now. Of course it’s limited what I remember of quantum field theory and computer algebra, but it was nice to see what’s going on. In general it struck me how people are still mostly charging along with multi-loop calculations alone or in small teams. A general classification of all calculated loop diagrams is still lacking – a database with references to papers, code etc.
