Swiss ATLAS meeting, May 2005, Beatenberg
Friday-Sunday (yes, in the weekend) another Swiss ATLAS meeting was held. Very fruitful and in a pleasant atmosphere, which seems to be characteristic of the collaboration of these two groups in Bern and Geneva. Back from Russia to this. The ATLAS Software Week is a trimonthly event, taking place since 1999, usually hosted by CERN and occasionally by American laboratories. Browsing old agendas can be quite thought-provoking for people involved (at least for me).
Got back late yesterday from the the 4th NGN workshop in St Petersburg.

I’m involved in building up a country-wide computing grid for the analysis of the torrents of data coming from the ATLAS detector at CERN in 2007. My collaborators and me now have a prototype ready, based on the NorduGrid software. We’ve presented it in a paper.
